This hoodie is fire. Made with aroha and whakapapa, it’s a collaboration with the Burnett Foundation Aotearoa, between me and Hineaorangi Pakaua — a takatāpui friendship turned into mahi for our people.
Inspired by karanga and waharoa, it holds Hinenuitepō as tekoteko and manaia that weave through the design. Every line carries wairua, connecting us back to our tīpuna and the spaces where our wānanga happen. It’s not just a hoodie. It’s a statement, a taonga, a story you wear.
